SOCIAL PROGRAM
To enrich your conference experience, we have organized a comprehensive accommodation and cultural excursion program, allowing you to discover the historical and natural beauties of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The Grand Herzegovina Excursion (150€)
A full-day guided tour to the historical Herzegovina region has been meticulously planned for our attendees. To ensure a highly organized, informative, and seamless experience, the group will be accompanied by a dedicated team of 5 to 6 professional tour guides.
- Mostar: The first major stop is the cultural and historical capital of Herzegovina. You will discover the world-famous UNESCO-listed Stari Most (Old Bridge) arching gracefully over the emerald Neretva River, along with the city's historic cobblestone alleys and Ottoman-era architecture.
- Počitelj: Step back in time in this historic stone village. Built into a steep karst amphitheater overlooking the river, Počitelj serves as a stunning open-air museum that perfectly blends medieval fortress structures with classical Ottoman design.
- Blagaj & Riverside Lunch: The tour continues to Blagaj to visit the Tekija, a mystical Dervish monastery dramatically nestled at the base of a 200-meter vertical cliff, right where the Buna River springs from a cave. While enjoying this breathtaking natural scenery, you will be served a special lunch at a riverside fish restaurant.
- Jablanica & Traditional Dinner: On the return journey to Sarajevo, the excursion makes a strategic culinary stop in the town of Jablanica. Situated along the Neretva River gorge, this town is historically famous across the entire Balkan peninsula for its roasted meat. The day will conclude here with a traditional and hearty lamb dinner.
